Lowdown on the Silver Cross Pacific Autograph

The lowdown on the Silver Cross Pacific Autograph

The hotly anticipated new Pacific Autograph from Silver Cross is already proving popular with parents-to-be. We’ve written this lowdown to explain the features and usability of this beautiful new pushchair travel system from Silver Cross.

Colours and finish of the Silver Cross Pacific

The Silver Cross Pacific Autograph comes in 3 twill weave fabric colour-ways: Bronze, Ink and Rock. The pushchair is designed with fashion-conscious parents in mind and is inspired by old Hollywood glamour and early 50’s chic.

The three finishes are:

Pacific Autograph Bronze

At our Nottingham store, the Pacific Autograph Bronze on display has been admired by many customers thanks to its striking tweed fabrics, brown leatherette handle and gunmetal chrome chassis (frame). If you’re looking for an eye-catching and unique finish, The Bronze may be the choice for you.

Pacific Autograph Ink

Parents-to-be who love the design and features of the  new Silver Cross but desire a colour that’s more subtle than the Bronze may prefer the Pacific Autograph Ink. The Ink features a dark chrome chassis (frame) and matching accents including a dark navy leatherette handle.

Pacific Augtograph Ink

Pacific Autograph Rock

The Pacific Autograph Rock from Silver Cross is the last in the new range to launch, being available from the end of May. The beautiful soft grey finish is complemented by the high shine silver chrome chassis and black accents. We find prams with a grey finish are always a popular choice with parents-to-be, thanks to being neutral, stylish and easy to accessorise.

Features of the Silver Cross Pacific Autograph

The Pacific is suitable from birth up to 22KG, which is approximately aged 4 years so it will see your little one through and beyond the toddler years. The single frame cannot be converted to a double, unlike the Silver Cross Coast or Silver Cross Wave

As with all Silver Cross products, the quality of the Autograph Pacific is unquestionably high. The natural bamboo fabric lines are designed with anti-bacterial properties and can help to regulate your baby’s temperature. The Pacific carrycot is also suitable for occasional overnight sleeping, which makes it handy for having odd nights away with your baby without needing to pack a travel cot.

The fabric on the Pacific carrycot and pushchair units are UPF 50+ and well ventilated, so you can be rest assured your little one will be protected from the sun. The pram also comes with a luxury faux fur reversible seat liner, which can be washed whenever needed.

Silver Cross have designed the pushchair of the Pacific Autograph to be both parent or world facing. There are also three recline positions to ensure your baby’s comfort whether sleeping or awake. The handle bar has four different height positions and can be adjusted with the simple push of a button.

Operation and ride

Both the carrycot and seat unit can be put on and removed easily with the clips either side, and the overall usability of the Pacific Autograph is simple. The only thing to note is that the buttons aren’t memory. This means both sides need to be engaged fully to put on and remove. Petite parents or mums recovering from C sections may find this a little trickier.

There is a large under-pram storage basket that can be accessed from the rear and front of the Pacific, for holding shopping and the essentials needed for a day out with your baby.

The wheels are multi-terrain, making the Silver Cross Pacific Autograph as much at home in the city as the countryside. The front wheels have a swivel feature too which can make navigating both narrow shops aisles and public transport a lot easier.

Folding the Silver Cross Pacific

The fold on this pushchair is quick and straightforward, with ‘sliders’ on both sides that pull up towards you. The chassis is then able to fold down over itself.

The Pacific Autograph is one of the more compact and lightweight pushchairs from Silver Cross, however, it is still quite bulky in comparison to some other pushchairs on the market and may not be as suitable for frequent travel.

We’d advise checking the folded pram dimensions (L86.5cm, W60cm, H33cm) to ensure it fits in your car boot, bearing in mind you may need space for your carrycot too.
Silver Cross Pacific bundles and accessories

The Pacific Autograph can be purchased as a bundle, which includes the chassis/frame, carrycot, pushchair unit, hoods, reversible faux fur seat liner, harness and chest pads, rain cover, cup holder and two bumper bars.

To turn the Silver Cross Pacific Autograph into a travel system, just add a compatible car seat, such as the Silver Cross Dream or Silver Cross Simplicity, together with adaptors.

Silver Cross have also designed a matching changing bag to complement the Pacific Autograph. With a tote design, the stylish changing features the matching twill weave fabrics and leatherette detailing. It also includes convenient clips for easily attaching to the pram chassis.

We love the newest pram from Silver Cross and can see why it’s already causing a stir in the pram and pushchair world. If you’d like to find out more about the Silver Cross Pacific Autograph, just send us a message, call us on 0115 9305772 use the live chat here on our website.
